Hi, I’m Roxanne, and my paintings began where my words ended.
Expressing through the brush is not something I planned. Before painting, I lived through many layers of transformation – as a writer, as a therapist who preferred to go back to writing, and as someone who, from an early age, was led by various circumstances to find my own way. My paintings carry those echoes.
Art to remember who you are.
Whether through writing, painting, or any other form of expression – if you had asked me ten years ago what I truly wanted to do, I would’ve said the same as today (although I had no idea how I would ever get there):
I want to touch people’s hearts. I want to contribute to people reconnecting with their true, authentic nature. Because that is what I’ve always deeply wanted for myself.
I believe our hearts are the greatest teachers we have. If we let them, they guide us back to who we really are.

While I mainly expressed myself through writing, I was deeply attached to my words — and how they were received.
Painting saved me. In painting, I didn’t care how it would be received. I just wanted to be me.
But before getting to this point, I thought for a long time that my creations – mostly written words – were justified by the wounds and trauma I passed through. I took a lot of pride in my pain — without even realizing it. My identity was attached to diving into the darkness, exploring shadows, and facing my fears, because I believed it was the only way to live authentically in today’s world.
Then I realized:
Healing is not just about surviving the darkness. It’s about reclaiming the light.
Painting now plays a significant role in that shift.

My mission is this:
To create art that enables us to remember who we truly are.
My paintings are meant as invitations — to feel, to be real, to be true. However that might look — in any given moment.
They speak from a space words can’t reach: the inner landscapes of my soul.
And they are led by the wisest teacher I’ve ever had — my heart.
My deepest wish is that my work contributes to guiding you back to yours.

My art is intuitive, somatic, and heart-led. I use techniques from my background in psychotherapy, body-oriented coaching, and trauma integration — including meditation, body scans, and heart-based presence.
Each canvas becomes a space where what’s unspoken is allowed to come through.
